Secondo un sondaggio dell’Associazione italiana di categoria, dal 2018 al 2021 l’industria dei videogiochi sarebbe cresciuta del 45% , arrivando ad avere 1600 sviluppatori e 160 studi di sviluppo. È cresciuto anche il numero di aziende con entrate superiori ai 500.000 euro e più di 20 dipendenti.
